A leisurely 2.5 hour stroll provides guests with colorful history and insights into the capital city of the “Last Frontier.” The delicious fare participants enjoy on the tour is locally sourced and highlights the bounty of Juneau’s waters. Our city takes pride in our food and culture, as guests discover while dining on Alaskan king crab, smoked salmon dip, halibut nachos, and locally brewed award-winning beer. The length of the tour is designed to allow participants the opportunity to taste the best of Juneau and to still have time to explore more of Alaska’s picturesque capital city.

Each tour combines walking to tasting locations, eating delicious local foods, and learning about the lively history and culture that makes Juneau so special. In addition to fantastic food, Juneau Food Tours includes fun facts about Alaska’s capital city. For example, you will “meet” Patsy Ann, Juneau’s official canine greeter. At the “Before I Die” blackboard, you will have the opportunity to share what’s on your bucket list. Landmarks include the new Walter Soboleff Center, which features beautiful Alaska Native artwork, and the Alaska Commercial Fishermen’s Memorial, which is dedicated to the men and women who have given their lives to the Alaska commercial fishing industry.
